We started giving Kaitlyn rice cereal last weekend. She's not getting much yet, but she seems to enjoy it! She's sitting in her high chair (thank you Auntie Megs and Carolyn!) like a big girl, too. She's doing well so far with the cereal, and we are excited to start other foods when she is six months old.

Bouncin' Baby
Okay, so this is probably proof that all parents think their own kids are cute, but Jeff and I can't get enough of Kaitlyn actually jumping in her jumperoo. She used to just sit there and maybe push off once in a while, but yesterday it "clicked" and she was all of a sudden just goin' to town! So, while we understand that others may not see the big deal or think that this is the cutest/funniest thing ever, I am going to post a video anyway.:)
Notice the proud daddy and grandpa (and mom on the phone with grandpa getting the play-by-play...)
Happy Friday!

Blogging From Work
Our computer at home is so dang slow that I decided to bring my camera in to work - much better! The kids have half days today and tomorrow so we can have conferences with parents.
I only have a short break, so that's all the update you get! Here are some pictures...
A seldom-seen sight: Kaitlyn napping unswaddled! It didn't last long, but she sure looked cute! :)
Helping Mrs. Collins finish report cards:

She loves playing in her crib :)

This is the backpack my parents got us for a shower. My family goes to Chelan every summer, and the summer when I was a baby, my dad was up with me at about 4:00 every morning, walking up and down the road with me in the backpack. He said he saw more sunrises that week than he ever had. So, he wanted Jeff to have a backpack for our Chelan trip this summer :) Kaitlyn and I had to try it out:

Why I Love Third Graders
1. They fall backwards in their chairs ALL DAY LONG. It happens at least four times a day, and it's such a normal occurance that we just keep going. It makes me laugh just thinking about it. Oh, and no matter how many times it happens to the same kid, they keep leaning back in their chairs.
2. They spell their own names wrong constantly.

FOUR Months Old!!
Kaitlyn turned four months old on February 22nd. She's now 15 pounds, 3 ounces, and is 25 inches long. We like to say that she's "sturdy." :)
I am in the middle of my first full week back at work. Let's just say that June is all I can think about....Jeff is in the same boat because he graduates in June. The Collins family will be partying!!
Kaitlyn is starting to enjoy her jumperoo more. Notice that our smart girl is holding onto the reins:
