Golf Tournament
That's right...I played in a golf tournament - all 18 holes! This was my first time playing all 18, and it was LOOOOOOONNNNGGGG. But, we were with Brian and Lindsey, so that made it fun. :) Lindsey's school district was doing a fund raiser, so they invited us to be on their team. We had a good time!

And it wouldn't be a good post with pics of Kaitlyn. Grandpa Rick and Grandma Sue came over on Saturday to hang out with her while we were golfing. They brought her a birthday present, which she LOVES. It's a train that plays all kinds of learning songs and games. It has a little "caboose" that she can sit on, and it can be detached so the engine can be used as a push toy. Anyway, she is loving it!

New Things
Kaitlyn's new happenings:
1. Saying "uh-oh" - Grandma Bonnie noticed this the other day, and she is definitely saying it! It's so crazy to hear her little voice saying a "word."
2. Dancing - she now bounces and sways to music. :)
3. Playing the music on her play table and looking at you to be sure you are either singing or dancing.
4. My parents reported on Monday that she is saying fish. Well, "ish." They have fish in their backyard in the pond and she was pointing at that and the fish food and saying it.
5. Starting to kinda-sorta blow kisses. We are still working on it!
6. Clipping her toenails. :) She got a hold of her nail clippers the other day and sat down and put them up to her toenails. This doesn't capture it all that well, but you can get the idea. :)

7. She puts things over her head and on her back - bibs, clothes, towels, blankets, etc. I think she thinks she's "putting them on." She'll put it on, then take off like, "Okay, I'm all dressed and ready to go!" Maybe you have to be there, but it's pretty funny :)

Chelan (2 Months Later)
We went to Chelan with my family at the end of July. It's always a fun, relaxing trip, and it was a blast having Kaitlyn there this year. I have been going since I was about 5 months old, so it meant a lot to me to have my own daughter experience my summer tradition. :)
Here are A LOT of pictures:
Having fun in her chair in the room:
First watermelon!
In the lake with Mama:

Trying out her new Elmo boat in the lake:

Looking super comfortable in her new life jacket :)

She was obsessed with my suitcase :)

Our New (Well, Used) Ride!
We bought a Honda Pilot today - Jeff has been (obsessively?) researching and searching for the perfect deal for what seems like forever. We got a pretty good one, we think! We are SO excited to have a bigger car! Going to Lake Chelan this summer was an eye-opener - packing with kid(s) takes a LOT of room! So, Jeff will drive the Pilot during the week for his short commute (not excited about paying more for gas for an SUV), and I'll continue to do my long commute in the Prius.
And here's a picture of Kaitlyn for good measure. Her first spaghetti meal. Note to self: Strip her for the next sketti adventure.
