We enjoyed a long weekend at Seabrook (near Pacific Beach) for the second August in a row with Jeff's family. They are so nice to bring us, and we all have a great time.

Kaitlyn was making a cake with sprinkles.
Poor Kaitlyn fell and hit her eye on something (a mystery to exactly what exactly caused the mark) and ended up with quite an owie on her eye for weeks afterward.
Another favorite summer pastime for Austen: Pulling one arm out of her tanktop for an eighties, off-the-shoulder look.

The houses at Seabrook are adorable. They have all sorts of goodies for kids - bins of books, games, and toys.
